This reminds me of a discussion I’ve been having w/ various music buds for the last 2 years — basically about the transient nature of music consumption via streaming services vs. that of music collectors (owners) and how it is re-shaping the concept of musical identity. Nitsuh scratches the surface (and is spot-on about the social media components convoluting the discovery experience), but there’s so much more to explore here…..I need to just write the damn article already. #foryourwhine
