Follow You by Future Islands
This band is great. I haven’t seen them live yet (not for lack of trying) but seriously amazing
Saw these guys on Saturday night at the midnight Bowery Ballroom show with Dan Deacon. The lead singer, who I believe is named Sam, rolled me a cigarette after the show. He’s got the most amazing voice ever—gritty, throaty, soulful. I didn’t think I could like them any more than I already did, but then I saw them live.
Ah-freaking-mazing.
I saw them Friday at the show under the bridge in Bushwick (and I have the bruises to prove it), it was an awesome show. Future Islands are awesome dudes, I booked them for a show a while back and we have been buds since. And yes, his name is Sam — he’s a sweetie :)
